There is nothing boring about being a kid. Their world is full of fun things to do. And many times the fun things are the ones that really mess them up. There is nothing wrong about having fun and ending up in a messed up look since kids really like to do this. Once in a while they just love to lose themselves and get dirty. However, in the process much of their clothing can suffer. It gets dirty. You will find many tears in their clothes from a really rough game. It gets stained from stuff they eat and let drip on them. And when their clothes are ruined, parents need to do the frustrating job of buying them new ones. It can be bad that children outgrow their clothes fast, but worse if it has to be replaced when it is still quite new because of holes, and tears, and stains in them. Frequently buying new clothes for your children is neither cheap nor convenient. The good news is that there are things that parents can do to avoid this fast turnover of clothes.
If they really like some clothes they will surely take care of them so parents might want to find out what are these clothing types that your children want for themselves. If you buy your boys the brand that they really like, they might still have a chance of changing their attitude towards the clothes they are wearing. Perhaps they will forget that they are wearing their best clothes but the likelihood that they will make a serious mess out of it is decreased. It is also great to buy them shirts with prints of their favorite cartoon characters or sports personalities. They will then want to take care of their shirt to make them last long.
Somehow buying hard wearing clothing will help to stop the ruining their clothes fast. They might be more expensive but it is better than buying one every now and then.
Another thing that you can do is to set specific play clothes for your children. Don’t let your kids wear their best clothes during play time, just like you wont wear your best clothes when you will have a tough task to do. Rough times should be times when they are wearing their play clothes. You cant stop them from messing up their clothes but if they have certain clothes set aside for play time, then you wouldn’t mind it so much if they come home with tears and dirt on it.
Sometimes you just have to come to terms with having to buy new clothes for your kids who always end up damaging their clothes. Teaching your kids to respect and take care of their belongings will soon save you up a lot of money and your kids growing up more sensible with their possessions.
